Commissioned by the Steinebach company, CTC Tankbouw supplied a total of eight double-walled horizontal storage tanks meeting DIN 6616 to tobacco manufacturers Landewyck Tobacco in Luxembourg.
The tanks each hold 16,000 litres, with a diameter of 1,600 mm.
The inner tanks are constructed from stainless steel 316L, the outer shells in S235JR.
The internal weld seams are milled to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm and the tanks are coated on the outside to meet corrosion class C3-High.
Following delivery, the tanks were immediately put into position in the basement beneath one of the workshops.
